The Role: HRBP Leader, New Business (Guangzhou based) Location: Guangzhou Business Focus: Premium catering & venue services (hospitality-like new business of a large Hong Kong-funded enterprise) Position Purpose: Lead HRBP strategy for the launch and growth of the Group’s new domestic business, leveraging hospitality industry expertise to drive talent acquisition, organizational design, and cultural alignment with premium service standards. Core Responsibilities: 1. Develop HR roadmaps aligned with new business objectives, including talent planning, performance management, and employee engagement; 2. Partner with business leaders to execute organizational changes and address workforce challenges in a hospitality-centric context; 3. Lead temp and perm recruitment for key roles, ensuring alignment with premium service standards and identifying candidates with hospitality/ luxury service backgrounds; 4. Manage employee relations in line with PRC labor laws, fostering a high-performance culture in a hospitality-oriented team; 5. Drive cultural initiatives to support the business’s premium service ethos and employee retention; 6. Collaborate with Group HR teams and business stakeholders to ensure consistency with Group policies while adapting to local market needs. Qualifications: 1. 10+ years of HR experience, with 3+ years in HRBP leadership roles within the hospitality industry (luxury hotels, premium services preferred); 2. Track record in supporting new business launches or organizational transformations in well-established enterprises; 3. Deep understanding of HR best practices in hospitality, including talent management for service-oriented teams; 4. Familiarity with labor regulations in China and cross-cultural HR management in multinational settings; 5. Fluent in written and verbal English (business-level proficiency required); 6. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
