Role: Senior Legal Counsel, Mainland China Region; Report to: General Counsel, Group; Location: Shenzhen Pingshan (factory-based); Work Schedule: Rotating weekly schedule (5-day/6-day workweek) Position Purpose: Lead the development of legal and compliance strategies aligned with the Group's Greater China business roadmap, ensuring regulatory adherence and risk mitigation for this prestigious, long-standing Hong Kong-listed manufacturing conglomerate. Core Responsibilities: 1. Design and execute legal frameworks to support Mainland China business expansion, M&A, and operational initiatives; 2. Advise senior management on PRC laws, corporate governance, and cross-border legal matters; 3. Establish compliance programs for manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations; 4. Lead due diligence for new projects and monitor regulatory changes impacting the Group; 5. Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts (e.g., supply agreements, joint ventures); 6. Oversee dispute resolution and coordinate with external counsel on litigation cases; 7. Collaborate with group legal teams to ensure consistency with Group-wide policies; 8. Provide legal training to internal stakeholders on compliance best practices. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctor/Law degree; qualified lawyer in PRC (preferred); 2. Fluent in written and verbal English and Mandarin; 3. 8+ years of legal practice, with 5+ years in in-house counsel roles (manufacturing industry strongly preferred); 4. Hands-on experience in listed company's compliance or cross-border legal affairs; 5. Strong commercial acumen and ability to align legal strategies with business goals; 6. Adaptability to factory-based operations and rotating work schedule; 7. Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
